Sustainability

DuFlon is committed to a Sustainable Future for
our Environment.

DuFlon is committed to a sustainable future for our environment, community, and business. We have undertaken several measures towards sustainability and CSR. In-house Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) have been set up to treat wastewater, which is later used for gardening, cleaning, and sanitation purposes. The remaining waste is given to Municipal Solid Waste Management.

We carry out tree plantation activities at multiple locations on “National Environment Day” and regularly conduct programs to promote “Environment Friendliness.” On these days, employees commute to the office using public transportation, bicycles, or on foot.

Safety campaigns are conducted in our communities to spread awareness about road safety. Under the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” we have taken initiatives to clean surroundings and promote a clean and green environment.

We celebrate Safety Week, which includes safety competitions such as safety quizzes, safety painting, safety slogans, and safety essays.

Under EOHS (Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety) implementation and the MP-AP (Management Programme – Action Plan), we have set the following goals:

  • Reduction in energy consumption
  • Reduction in the generation of PTFE shavings
  • Reduction in unsafe conditions
  • Reduction in water consumption
  • Reduction in the generation of hazardous waste
  • Adoption and maximization of renewable energy resources, such as solar energy.

We have initiated the process of implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS) for our three standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. A common audit for these standards will enable us to save time, manpower, and documentation.

Additionally, we conduct energy audits (both internal and external) to focus on energy conservation and regularly provide awareness training on environment, health, and safety for our vendors and associates.

We conduct annual medical tests for all DuFlon employees to promote better health awareness.

DuFlon holds a green consent from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) for zero discharge.
