In its quest to become a one-stop supplier of parts for the global P&V industry, DuFlon® provides value-added services by offering complete sub-assemblies. With over three decades of experience in manufacturing essential parts for the global P&V industry, DuFlon sees sub-assembly as a logical next step, bringing significant benefits to its global customers.

Currently, DuFlon® has begun the sub-assembly of butterfly valve components such as seats, discs, and energizers. The company already has an in-house manufacturing facility for all these parts. Seats are available in PTFE, PFA, UHMWPE, and EPDM, along with other grades of elastomers and fluoro-elastomers. Discs and disc stems, whether lined or unlined, are available in various metal alloys. Energizers or ring bands are offered in different grades of EPDM, NBR, silicone rubber, and other elastomers. On the anvil is a plan to manufacture BFV bodies, too.

Customers benefit in multiple ways. Firstly, sub-assembly prevents potential seat damage that may occur during the assembly of seats and disc/disc stems. Secondly, it reduces inventory costs and lead times. Thirdly, it lowers infrastructure and manpower costs for customers. This also helps our customers to alleviate labour shortages.  Lastly, sub-assemblies are tested according to customer specifications, ensuring reliability and peace of mind. Additionally, upon request, DuFlon® can integrate third-party components such as actuators and deliver fully assembled units to the destination per customer requirements.
